The best couples know how to laugh, and just be together. :)

Looking for some ink or piercings? Check out their work on their WEBSITE or find them on FACEBOOK. (Rachel's watercolor work is outstanding!)

Bridal Shows. Some people love them. Some... not so much.

We adore bridal shows, because - like weddings - we get to meet a ton of amazing people. At the Elegant Bridal Expo in Springfield this past summer, we were lucky to meet Rachel and Stephen. As our engagement shoot giveaway winners, we were all excited to plan their sweet engagement shoot. (It is always amazing photographing fellow artists. Rachel and Stephen own the new Spiral Out Tattoos in Springfield, IL. Their work is incredible!)

Here are just a few of our favorite shots. ;)

Kaci & Lucas | Engagement Session in Effingham, IL

There is nothing quite so relaxing as photographing a fun couple out in nature. For this shoot, we went out to a local farmer's property, and took full advantage of his fields and lake in Effingham, IL. (Thank you!) Kaci did an amazing job coordinating their wardrobe, and Lucas was an awesome sport, even allowing us to stand on his jeep. ;)

Kaci and Lucas were an absolute joy to photograph; we can't wait until their wedding day!

For now, check out a few highlights from their relaxed engagement shoot!

Welcome to our revamped blog! Watch for a TON of new posts over the next few weeks, showing some of our favorite weddings, engagement shoots, and portrait sessions.

Below, you will find the slideshow to one of our most recent engagement sessions- Jodi & Lucas. This awesome couple chose the Inglenook Bed and Breakfast in Mount Vernon, IL for both their engagement session and to host their wedding this August.
